The NCPB, the digital hub of the city of Paderborn
The modern Network Center Paderborn (NCPB) was completed in 2020 and began operations as the new headquarters of VegaSystems.
An innovative office complex has been created here at Halberstädter Straße 99 in Paderborn Mönkeloh, with ultra-modern and sustainable data centers.
The Network Center Paderborn serves as a new home for several other start-ups and companies. The extremely fast internet connection via various carriers and the performance of the data centers offer ideal conditions for all companies that are active in the digital sector.
The data centers were built according to DIN EN 50600 and have an extremely high level of security, with state-of-the-art access control, alarm and fire detection systems, video surveillance and security services. Here your data is perfectly protected around the clock.
In the energy-intensive data centers, the servers run around the clock. This creates enormous waste heat, which is used to heat the offices using modern heat recovery. At the same time, a large part of the electricity required is produced in the office building itself using photovoltaics. When the sun doesn't shine, energy is supplied from hydropower.
The data centers are among the most sustainable data centers in Germany. VegaSystems is therefore a pioneer in the area of climate-neutral operation of energy-intensive data centers.
The NCPB and the start-ups and companies based there also benefit from the sustainable orientation, as do VegaSystems' customers.
Data center operations certified according to ISO 27001
The operation of the connected data centers has been awarded the ISO 27001 standard certificate by TÜV Rheinland. We are checked every year by TÜV to ensure that we meet the high-security requirements of the international standard for information security.
